INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR INTERNAL AUDIT
Kenya
Roads Board is desirous of having an audit form to manage its internal
audit function for efficiency and independency of opinion and programme
implantation. The overall
purpose of the assignment is to independently verify and assure the
Board on eh reliability and integrity of financial, operational systems
and policies and KRB and suggest improvements of efficiency and
effectiveness.
Tender documents with detailed specifications may be inspected and / or obtained from the General Manager, Finance 3rd floor,
Kenya Re Towers, Off Ragati Road during working days between 8. 30 am
and 4.30pm upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Kshs. 1, 500. 00. Payments shall be made by cash or by banker’s cheque in the cashier office.
The tenders can also be viewed and downloaded from KRBs website (www.krb.go.ke)
Bidders who download the documents must pay Kshs. 1, 500. 00 and will
be expected to produce a receipt as evidence when submitting the tender
document. The bidders should also submit their contact details to facilitate any clarifications during the bidding period.

Tender documents in plain sealed envelope clearly marked “Tender No
KRB/655/2012/13 for Procurement of International Audit Consultancy
Services” should be addressed, submitted and/ or delivered to:

Or deposited in the Tender box situated on 3rd floor, Kenya Re Towers so as to be received on or before 22nd July 2013 at 12. 00 noon.
Tenders
will be opened in public on the same day immediately after the closing
time in the Boardroom of Kenya Roads Board, 3rd floor, Kenya Re Towers
and Tenderers or their representatives who wish to witness the opening
are welcome to do so.
